The Tacit Component

'The Art of Venn - A self -study'. Marble, Bronze and Slate. 48cm x 34 cm x 2cm 

This relief sculpture was made as a result of trying to capture gaps in my knowledge base and my role as a teacher within the creative arts. The Vennn diagram is used here to compare and contrast  characteristics of concepts relating to pedagogical content, subject knowledge and personal constructs.
The result is the possible impression of two faces, one the reflective practitioner and the other focused on  personal professional development.
